You can find his home at the end of the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail.  

                                       I have to say his home is my favorite.  

I love his bright color walls and turquoise doors.  His home is different than any other cabins in this area.  I guess he was a person with a great vision.  His Mill is still there in front of his home.  He must have been a very talented builder. Everything seems to be very tightly fitted, not like the other buildings in the Smokys.

Great Smoky Mountains - Grotto Falls

 Grotto FallIs is AWESOME!

You have to go if you get to visit the Great Smokys.

It is one of the most popular places because you can walk behind the waterfall.  

The trail is located on the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail.  
It's an 11 miles long ONE WAY road.  
So there is no turning back if you can't find a parking spot. 
It was our third attempt and we finally find a road side spot to park. 
Once you find a spot, you are good to go!

The trail is about 2.5 miles round trip. It's not bad at all.

They say that sometimes you can see a train of llamas coming down from the Mt.Le Conte Lodge with their supplies. I bet it will an awesome sight to see!

One day I hope we can spend a night at the Mt. Le Conte Lodge.

It will be a sweet night!

Great Smoky Mountains - Jakes Creek trail

YEAH!

We are back from our Great Smoky Mountains trip.

It was AWESOME!

I'm sure you are saying "AGAIN?"

NO!  It's "AGAIN !!" 

What can I say?  We just love the Smokys.

Our first trail was Jakes Creek Trail picked by Jack.

you can see many cascades along the trail and lots variety trees and plants.

In the beginning of the trail there are very old and empty cabins along the street near by parking lot.

It's kinda neat and exciting. On the other hand it's kinda scary and spooky.
Although, they have charm and characters in each home.


I'm sure it will be great once they finish the project!
