WOW, they did it again.

It's always fun just go out and look around a mob of people on Black Friday shopping day.

We drove by the Wal Mart lot at 12:15.  Guess what?  you guessed it.  It was over flowing with cars.

Bill took this picture last night at the Target entrance.  It was just crazy.

At least it wasn't freezing cold like a couple of years ago.

Anyway, we are heading back today. 

I'm sure everyone will be tired and wants to stay home at one point. Right?

Hopefully there is no line to get in this time.

new beginning

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas.

We had a great time . It was a sweet Christmas for us.

It's always great to spend time with your family and friends that you love. Even though you don't get to see all of your dearest friends but still make you feel close to your heart.

I got to make embroidery loop memo boards for my friends.

Hope everyone loves it.

made a box full of Alicia's thumbprints cookies for Santa.

made a coat for Rex. I used Lori's pattern .
It was so easy to make. I was going to put a heart on the back but somehow the skull fits better for our playful dog Rex. I think he really like it. He doesn't mind at all. He loves to wear it.
I guess he wants to stay warm like us. LOL

The new year is just around the corner.

I don't remember what I did for last 12 months. It went by so quickly.

It has been a lot of happiness, regrets, sadness, ups and downs.
I know it will make a great corner stone for me to start a new year.
I'm sure it will be a great new year. Hope you have a great year too.

winter wish

things we did

We decided to go to Clifton Mill in Clifton Ohio not too far from home. They have been lighting up the mill and Clifton Gorge for over 18 years but we have never made it out there. Well with over 3.5 million lights illuminating the mill, the gorge, the riverbanks, trees and bridges, it was something else. These pictures really can't capture how beautiful all of it was. It was fun and sure put everyone in the Christmas spirit. We were lucky to get there early. By 7:00 it was packed! The traffic was bumper to bumper. I guess everyone wanted to see the lights!

We loved it.
